Lorsque Astro – comme le surnomment ses collègues – signe pour passer l’été au Camp Laguna, un camp pour jeunes filles de Caroline du Nord, il a deux objectifs en tête : échapper aux souvenirs de son ex qui l’a trompé et éviter d’autres complications sentimentales. Puis il rencontre C.C. , l’homme à tout faire et aide médical du camp. Il ne faut pas longtemps pour qu’Astro se rende compte que C.C. lui posera beaucoup plus de problèmes pour sa tranquillité d’esprit que son ex ne l’a jamais fait. C.C. est gay, seul, et intéressé. Il est aussi un playboy de la pire espèce, et Astro est trop conscient du fait qu’ils ont seulement neuf semaines ensemble avant la fin de l’été. Astro a le choix : attiser les flammes entre eux et espérer qu’il pourra séduire C.C. pour l’embarquer dans une relation qui durera après la fin de l’été, ou laisser filer cette chance pour protéger son coeur.
